The NCJLT website has just undergone huge change and has finally been made more interactive!

The site which you are on: http://www.ncjlt.org is filled with only basic information about the services the NCJLT offers! In order to make full use of your membership, please visit and sign-up for our web-forum. http://www.webjam.com/ncjlt.

Currently these are the services our web-forum offers!

Online forum: We have an online forum/bulletin-board where you can post questions to topics ranging from successful teaching ideas, ACTFL information, job-postings, advocacy issues and many more. Even though we will be managing this site, you will also be able to post answers to the questions of others.

Google Calendar: We have a real-time, scrollable Google-calendar which will house all information on NCJLT events and professional development opportunities around the US and abroad.

Online Photo Gallery: This is where we can post photos related to Japanese culture and language, eventually building a bank of photos we can use in our classrooms. We will also house Nengajoo and Yonkoma Manga Winners here.

Document Database: Besides files like the membership form, Nengajoo application forms, etc, we have several lesson plans, project ideas, handouts, and technology tutorials which will help you out in the classroom.

Real-time Poll: We can set up a realtime, online poll in which are members can respond to one or more simple questions and see the results immediately.

Youtube and Other Video Gallery: We can send in all of our favorite Youtube videos and other videos to our gallery.
