The NCJLT (National Council of Japanese
Language Teachers) is an organization which supports not
only the development and promotion of Japanese language
materials and programs across the United States, but contributes
significantly to the professional development of its member
teachers (over a thousand strong, from K-16). Among the
services we provide, we publish two journals, our main
print-journal Oshirase and our digital newsletter, E-Oshirase.
Oshirase submission guidelines
Oshirase is the newsletter of the National Council of
Japanese Language Teachers (NCJLT), a non-profit organization.
Submission guidelines:
- Submissions
are accepted primarly in electronic forms.
- Sumissions
with the MsWord format and unformattted text are appreciated.
- Please
digitize pictures and photo into jpeg or pict files
if you have pictures and photos you would like us
to put in Oshirase.
- For
inquiries regarding the sumission, please send e-mail

NOTE: NCJLT reserves the rights to edit, change and
delete information from any submissions to the NCJLT
newsletterOshirase.
Please make sure to send the written permission along
with the photos and/or text if it includes a person
under 18 years old. Please fill out the form and send
it via email attachment. For more information about
